MSN and Windows Live
, the world leader in helping bring together all the relationships, information and interests people care about most, will be the Official Online Partner of the Convention.  Aside from providing an exclusive Windows Live Space to promote the "Singapore Toy & Comic Convention" and showcase winning works from the Convention's Photography Contest, MSN and Windows Live will also be delivering Convention news and updates through its Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Spaces, and Windows Live Messenger platforms.  Special Convention “emoticons” will also be available on Windows Live Messenger.




Agility Fairs & Events
, a premier, world-class exhibition forwarding specialist with a vast network of 550 offices in over 100 countries in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas will be the Convention’s Official Freight Forwarder and On-site Logistics Provider.   Agility will ensure timely delivery of shipments from countries of origin to the Convention, efficient on-site handling of exhibition goods in the event halls, and the safe return of shipments to their originating locations upon closing of the Convention.


Premier Hiphop Club in Singapore, The Butter Factory, is the Convention’s Official Club Partner for 2008.  Aside from being the preferred launch venue for the inaugural Convention press conference and exclusive after-parties, The Butter Factory will also be hosting Convention-related activities such as an interactive mural for doodling, display of customised toys, a special interactive animation for their video wall, meet & greet with selected artists, and displaying the works of finalists from the Convention’s photography contest at the Club.


Mikoishi
, an award winning game development studio, publisher and technology provider specializing in online and multiplayer games based on original and licensed IP for PC, handheld, virtual console and 3G mobile platforms, will jointly organize the “Mikoishi Animation Competition” together with PI Events. Using Mikoishi’s “DropcastTM” characters, contestants will be required to develop a short 2D animation clip, showcasing the characters’ personalities through the animation.

PI Events, partnered with Movie Mania, Singapore’s premier costuming specialists, welcomes talented Cosplayers from the region to partake in the “CosCon @ Singapore Toy & Comic Convention 2008”, a Cosplay competition to celebrate movie & anime characters that appear in pop-culture.



The Association of Comic Artists (Singapore) (ACAS), formed in 2005, has been active in competition judging, workshops and seminars, promoting & demonstrating the art form of pictorial storytelling.

With our new Comic Creative Classes, ACAS aims to ensure that much local or locally connected talent eventually sees their work in print. From beginners to the proficient, we’re all one.

Members now enjoy varying customer incentives on a range of art aiding products, and we’re constantly searching for ways to add to our benefits.

We are now targeted as a hub for publishers worldwide to source for Singapore based talent.

ACAS is also the creator of the Singapore Toy & Comic Convention 2008's Official ConComic, Tales of the Lion City. For e
very copy sold, a donation of S$1 will be made to a charity fund in support of the victims of the Sichuan earthquake disaster.
