Blasting off on 27-29 June 2008, the first-ever Singapore Toy & Comic Convention will feature a host of toys (general and designer), comics, animation, gaming, design, licensing and Cosplay from creative minds from all over the world, serving up an eye-popping visual feast and unprecedented variety and innovation in all the closely-related industries.
With exciting free giveaways, competitions, meet-and-greet sessions with acclaimed artists from around the world and much more - the inaugural Convention promises to bring the best of East and West together in one single, fun-filled event.

The first-ever Singapore Toy & Comic Convention has officially taken off! Event Organisers, PI Events, held a dynamic Press Conference in the playfully art-clad setting of Official Club Partner, The Butter Factory, on Thursday 17 April 2008.
The colorful event saw executives from PI Events, the Singapore Tourism Board, Media Development Authority of Singapore and Animax Asia, express their enthusiastic support for this exciting pop-culture extravaganza, as well as pose for photographs with iconic characters (including Spiderman, The Joker and Darth Vader)!

Announcing the internationally-acclaimed artists and designers of the Walk of Fame! Come 28 – 29 June, the Convention will play host to five major industry personalities, namely PETE FOWLER (UK), Simone Legno of TOKIDOKI (IT), DEVILROBOTS (JPN), JOSEPH WONG CHAK of Old Master Q (HK) and GARY ERSKINE (UK).
